i feel like i have finally started coming out of my creative slump.... it's like my brain shut down after the semester and went into maintenance mode and i'm finally booting up again... it's weird because academically, this semester wasn't hard, but it was so mentally draining. a lot of my friends moved away which meant i was isolating myself and my classes were super early so my dumbass wasn't getting enough sleep and a couple of my classes were very writing/project heavy meaning i was spending a LOT of free time just getting work done and then being super stressed out bc i had to choose between sleep and relaxing with hobbies. well it's over now, and hopefully next semester will be better...

part of my creative slump was also due to the fact that i was falling out of love with destiny 2, i think. it was such a huge part of my life for such a long time, and my interest in it was coincidentally at its height when i was taking creative writing classes and getting more into writing. writing d2 femslash was my main creative outlet for a long time. but gradually i have just slowly stopped being interested in the game's writing (which i feel peaked in early 2022 and has been slowly going downhill ever since) which obviously killed my desire to write for it. but i watched the terror a couple weeks ago and it feels like the new hyperfixation is slowly setting in.... like DAMN what a good show. slowly dipping my toes into the fandom. my ao3 profile looks so funny rn bc it's like twenty three lesbian video game fanfics and then BOOM gay cannibals. well i'm having a good time!!!

work has been really good, i've been scheduled a lot and it's usually the 7:45 am shift but it's a really short shift and it's a SUPER easy job like i literally just go and sit and get paid to play totk for three hours%&*#%&@ speaking of totk it's really fun i love it i played it soooo freaking much that i'm kind of burned out on it now but i'm excited to get back to it. i just feel rejuvenated omg i want to do a lot of stuff, like read and finish ff7r and play totk and write etc etc etc... YAYYY!
