back to the grind...

left my parent's house, back in my apartment! the drive wasn't too bad, but my gps took me a different way than usual which always makes me a bit anxious. everything was totally fine and the apartment looked good when i got back. my parent's house had a pipe burst because of the cold front, so i was worried that something had happened here.. but luckily nothing did!

school starts on monday and unfortunately i think i'm getting sick... i've been blowing my nose a lot :( but hopefully this semester is good. i'm excited for my classes! i'm taking an editing and publishing class and the professor is the head editor of a well known writer's magazine here so i'm suuuuper excited. especially because i gave up on doing this special program at my school that would have me get my master's degree while finishing my undergrad (because i figured out that it wouldn't actually be saving me money or time) and i think i'm gonna try to get into editing/publishing before deciding whether to go back to school for a masters.
